had become used to getting ’s teary phone calls and it broke his heart.  She deserved to be with a guy who would treat her right and put her above anything else in the world, but for some reason she always ended up with the ones who would take her for a ride and take advantage of her.  He wish he could help her.

But tonight was different, invited round to dinner, her boyfriend Martin couldn’t make their anniversary meal and didn’t want to put the food to waste.  As got round there was wearing a tight fitted red dress with low cleavage, she looked amazing and angry!

‘Are you ok?’
‘Me? I’m just bloody perfect, why would something be wrong, I mean my boyfriend chooses tonight of all nights to announce to me on the phone that he wants me to move out of the house as his secretary is moving in and there’s me having slaved all day over cooking him a nice meal to celebrate and it was all for nothing but apart from that why should anything be wrong?’
said as she sat down and started to eat, stabbing her food it was almost as if she was imaging Martin on her plate and was stabbing him.  cautiously sat down.   ‘Please eat, I mean it only took me 3 hours to prepare and cook it all it was no trouble really’

As watched her carefully he saw that she suddenly put down her cutlery and burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably, went down to her side and pulled her into his embrace.

‘It’s ok sweetheart, let it out’
‘I hate him , I hate him so much, how could he do this to me?’
‘Because he’s an absolute bastard that’s why he doesn’t know just what a good catch he found in you’
‘But you know what, the truth is I don’t care I don’t love him, I don’t care that he has been sleeping with his secretary for the past 6 months, I don’t care anymore, it’s always been you , you’re the only man that I have ever loved you’re the only one that has ever been there for me’
‘I always will be as well, I promise you that , you mean so much to me that it hurts me when these guys treat you this way, I just want to punch them and take the hurt away from you’
‘Even when we were kids you were always trying to protect me weren’t you?’ ‘You were like my little sister and now you’ve grown into a beautiful woman that I would be proud to have on my arm, I’ve always loved you ’

  looked deep into his eyes, his hair slightly damp from the rain outside.  She knew that she must have looked a mess, her hair was probably tangled up and her eyes were probably bloodshot with mascara running down her cheeks.
  leaned in and kissed his lips, it felt weird at first but then as he deepened the kiss nothing had felt more natural to her in the whole world.  She pulled back and looked at him before rushing upstairs to pack her things.  She needed to get out of the house and downstairs there was a man that on so many occasions had offered to give her everything she could have possibly have wanted.

  helped her take her suitcases outside. 

While she was putting her stuff away at ’s and getting showered was downstairs making them both a drink.  came into the kitchen wearing her PJ’s with her hair still slightly damp.

No words were needed as they ran to each other and started passionately kissing one another.  Before they knew they were both in ’s bedroom making love like their lives depended on it.  showing her all of the passion that he had kept inside for her and showing him all of the passion that he had ignited in her. 

Once they had finished, it was well into the early hours of the next morning and they both just lay there looking at one another, feeling contented.

‘I’ve loved you for so long and I wanted to tell you but with my life, I didn’t know if I would be able to give you everything that you needed’
‘I only need you I only need to know that I belong to you and that you belong to me and that our lives will be spent trying to make the other one happy, you know me , you know me better than anyone else on this planet.  I don’t need the materialistic lifestyle’
‘How any man could ever hurt you I’ll never know’

  leaned down and kissed on the lips again.

‘Whoever thought that when we were kids you would turn out to be my knight in shining armour?’
‘My mother did, she always knew that one day we would end up together, though maybe me being in love with you since the age of 10 had something to do with it’ ‘We never did things the easy way did we?’
‘No that’s true, but we don’t have to worry about the past now , no one is ever going to hurt you again and I am going to make you so happy’
‘Just like I’m going to make you the happiest man in the world’
‘You already have’

They kissed and passion ignited once again.  Nothing had felt more right than this and they both finally knew that they were where they were supposed to be and neither never looked backed.
