'Lunchtime lads' the producer called twenty minutes later. The guys cheered.

'So DVD night, whose house?' asked, while they were looking at the menu-card of their favourite lunchroom. 'It's 's crib tonight' answered. 'Is it?' looked questioning. nodded. It's quite a coincidence that asked just now, cause I was about to say it' he shrugged. 'I forgot' sighed. 'We can do it some other night then' suggested. 'No mate, we can't. We're off to Australia next week, aren't we?' reminded him. 'Oh right' nodded. 'Guys, it's not a problem. The video store is still open. I'll go home and clean the place up a bit and you show up at the regular time' smiled. Everyone agreed happily.

'See you tonight then' said as they finished lunch. ', you're not doing this because of are you?' asked, separating them from the lads. 'What?' looked confused. 'Going home instead of being around him?' said with an accusing tone. laughed lightly 'I'm not afraid of being around him . Don't make me laugh. It doesn't matter anyway. He'll never get it' she sighed. Turning her face to look at . Standing outside, obviously having a laugh with his three band mates. His laugh that made you want to hear it over and over and over. The twinkle in his eyes that laughed just as loud when wasn't laughing at all. All of this perfection combined in just one man: . felt her heartbeat quicken and slow at the same time. At 7.30p.m that night the doorbell rang. 'Hellooooooo.. ' laughed lightly. Feeling somewhat embarrassed at having answered the door so enthusiastically. 'Hi babe' winked and kissed her on the cheek. took in his aftershave and felt a shiver going down her spine. She wondered how on earth could always smell so masculine, no matter what sort of cologne he was wearing. 'I'm the first, then?' he asked as he didn't see any of his friends come out to greet him. 'You're always first' shrugged 'I don't know how the others manage to be late every time though' she continued. 'Ahh well, you know how girls are. Never go out until they look smashing. Lucky for me I don't have one like that and lucky for you, you aren't like that' smiled. felt like having been stuck with a knife. 'Yeah, lucky me. Erhmm. I'm going to check on the popcorn. Will you let the others in? Drinks are on the table in the lounge, make yourself at home' asked. 'Sure' nodded, feeling like he said something improper.
tried to delay going to the lounge for as long as possible. She heard and arrive as also and came, she still didn't go in to welcome them. 'Where's ?' heard ask, as for a third time walked to the door after the bell had rung. 'In the kitchen. I think the fridge must've swallowed her up or something. She's been in there for the longest time' 's answered. 'Aargh, and you haven't wondered why she hasn't come out? What've you said now, mate?' she heard raise her voice and then 's best friend entered the kitchen. 'What did he say' she burst. 'Outside' already stood next to the garden door.
'Spill' demanded. 'He came in, 30 minutes ago. He goes like 'Oh I'm the first' and I retort 'You're always first' and how I don't know how you lot always manage to come late' and he goes 'Well you know girls never go out unless they look smashing, and how he's lucky not to have a girl like that and that I'm lucky to not be a girl like that' sighed. 'Let's face it . 's never going to see me in the way I want him to see me.' she sighed a second time, it held a slight tremble, which indicated that she was close to crying.

'How exactly do you want me to see you?' Both and looked up in surprise. In the opening of the door stood . 'I'll go check if anyone wants a drink' smiled, finding a poor excuse to get away from the scene.

I think the rest of them want to see some acted romance. Nothing better then the real thing though' smiled. 'Yeah, let's go' agreed. 'One thing though, want me to stay tonight?' he said. 'I do' nodded. And before they joined their friends, they kissed once more.
