'Stop laughing' nagged as she had ducked away behind 's shoulder for the millionth time that evening. 'You know, you shouldn't have agreed on seeing these scary movies if you’re too scared to watch all the time' sniggered. 'It's Halloween , we're supposed to watch scary movies' defended herself. 'Besides, you’re my hero, you’re supposed to protect me when I get scared' she pocked out her tongue at him. 'Right' smiled, he pulled her close. 'I'll be your hero whenever you want me to' he kissed the top of her head. 'Good' yawned, resting her head on his chest, her own breathing became steady with his, she yawned a few times more...

'Baby, baby. It's time honey.' woke her up softly. 'What.. wh-what time is it?' asked. 'It's close to ten, we're supposed to meet the gang in at ten pm sharp' smiled softly. 'O yeah' yawned and stretched. 'Let's go' she kissed him. They walked to the car hand in hand. 'Looks like it's going to be a full moon' said as she looked up at the sky, the grey clouds shining brightly, keeping the most of it from sight, but showing just enough to indicate it would appear in it's full state soon. 'It does indeed' nodded, a quick smirk fading from his lips. had taken no notice of it. She got in the car and so did , he drove them to .
'It's about time' frowned at when and he joined their group of friends. 'So, we're all here, let's go' smiled, the group agreed. 'You know, we do this every year and never once have we seen a ghost.' whispered into the cold night air as they trailed off from the path. 'We don't do it to see ghosts , you know that' laughed, looking up at the sky. 'I know, we once did and now it's like our annual thing.' said it before said it. Truth was, she was a scardycat. She didn't like leaving the unlit path to go walking around in the deep darkness of . She had lived in all her life, new the woods off by heart, but could never become comfortable walking around without lights on. 'Won't you look at that' had followed 's gaze, wondering why he had been staring up.
Above their heads, they could see a clear sky, a zillion stars shining down brightly in the late night air. 'See I told you, there would be a full moon' smiled, as the clouds cleared aside and the moon became clearly visible. 'Isn't it beautiful ?' looked back down and was met by a big pair of yellowish eyes, instead of the usual ones. 'Yes sweetheart' he smiled, his corner teeth had begun to grow. felt her bottom lip begin to tremble. She looked around at everyone else, wondering if they were seeing it too, but they had also begun to turn in something inhuman. Feeling something prick in her finger, she looked down, 's hand had become a claw. '.. b-b-baby.. what's wrong with.. you?' squealed, her gaze had gone back up from the claw, to her boyfriends face, but it had begun to grow whiskers and his short sideburns had grown to long manes. 'You know, if I wasn't so scared, I'd say that this looks terribly like Michael Jackson's Thriller video.. you know.. where the lovebirds get attacked by zombies. Except you’re not a zombie are you?' heard her voice shake with fear. All around her, her friends began to turn into werewolves. didn't even speak, he just shook his head. Looking up at the moon, it seemed like a smile spread across his snout and he let out a howl. Hearing the same howl from all around her, quickly realised that she was stood amid a pack of werewolves.
'I'm dreaming. I'm dreaming. Wake up . Wake up' she told herself, backing away. had now completely transformed. 'I'm definitely dreaming. It's been full moon lots of times. He never changed. This is definitely a dream.' murmured to herself. 'Allright, I'm going to pinch myself and when it doesn't hurt. I'll know it's a dream and I'll wake up' she tried to convince herself. She drew one hand to her arm and pinched herself, harder and harder until her nails dug into her skin. Feeling a very real sharp pain, swallowed. Meanwhile seven werewolves were coming at her. The one that was , rather to say had been at front. 'Baby, it's me. . Your girlfriend. You wouldn't bite me would you. You love me, remember that I love you.' Fear made her voice softer. She jumped as she felt she had been corned up against a tree. Six of the werewolves stood still, while their leader, the wolf that had looked like her lover just moments ago, came closer. 'Please . Remember who you are. You are not a werewolf. You’re , my boyfriend. My lover. You’re a human. You don't want to hurt me. You love me' was frozen by fear. The beast had begun to climb up, it's front legs on her heaving chest. It looked like it was going to strike at any moment.

Feeling tears escape her eyes, she cried out 'Allright, fine. Kill me, make me one. If that's what it takes to be with you , then so be it. Let me become part of your world. I love you. Never will love another. Do it . Do it' closed her eyes. The growls of the others became louder, the breath of the wolf pounding in her ears. She felt one paw leave her chest, she screamed..

'Baby, baby wake up' was stood over her, when opened her eyes. 'Get away from me' she yelled. 'Baby, it was just a dream' sat beside her. 'A..a..dream?' stuttered. 'Yeah honey, you fell asleep during that last movie. I've been putting our stuff in the car' explained 'Our stuff in the car? Why?' asked. 'Our annual Halloween Sleepover, remember? It's close to ten, we better go, we're supposed to meet the gang at ten' stood up. 'I'm not coming. I dreamt . I dreamt that you and the others became werewolves, you were their leader. You were about to kill me when you woke me up' backed away from him somewhat as he reached out. ' sweetheart. You should not fall asleep in front of the TV. Maybe we've watched too many scary movies tonight. C'mon we're going down to . Or we will be late. I promise I will not turn into a werewolf and neither will the others. Werewolves are fake, they only exist in movies or music video's.' pulled her close. 'It seemed so real , so real' let her tears run free. 'I know baby. Dreams can be like that, but I'm here. I'm your hero' smiled and kissed her. 'Yes baby, you are. Silly me. It was just a dream..' smiled.’ Right' nodded as she stood up, not seeing the yellowish shade flash in 's eyes...
