As soon as he would do that, he'd see daylight, and daylight would mean for him to get up and get dressed and drag himself to church, where his best friend, his soul mate, the love of his life would say 'I do' to a man that wasn't him.
'Morning, dear' his mum came into the room. 'Morning mum' said yawning. 'You'd better get up. 's getting married you know.' sat down beside her son. 'Don't think I'm going, mum' said. 'She'll be heartbroken if you didn't come'. 'She should've thought about it when she decided to marry another man' spat. looked surprised. 'Sorry mum' sighed and plumped his head back onto the pillow. 'If you love her so much why don't you tell her' asked. 'Cause she's getting married mum' answered, rubbing the last sleep from his eyes. 'It's never too late to try, darling' smiled. 'I've had my chance mum. I let it slip' sighed. 'In , this weekend?' asked. looked at his mother, wondering if she had read his mind. 'She asked me if there was a reason not to marry Callen' explained 'And I said no' he added, looking down, re-living the moment in the back of his head. ''s been in love with you forever . If you had seen it, if you had recognized it for what it was then she wouldn't be saying I do to that Callen in an hour from now' explained. ''s been in love with me, how do you know?' asked, sitting straight up in bed. 'I know when a woman's in love dear. I'm one myself, you know' winked at her son. 'It's too late mum. She'll hate me forever, if I tried' shook his head. 'I think she'd hate you if you didn’t’ stood up and left her sons room. Fourty minutes later stormed past her. 'Where you going dear?' asked. 'I'm going to crash a wedding' called, leaving behind with a proud smile.

'Is this really what you want darling. Is that the man you want to say I do to?' 's father asked her, as she took his arm. 'Yes daddy' said. 'It's not too late yet sweetheart. You can still say no' her father tried again. ' doesn't want me daddy. Callen will be good for me' smiled, trying to keep her tears at bay. Her father sighed 'Allright darling' he kissed the side of her head. The doors opened and sounds of the wedding march overthrew them. , 's best maid stared towards the alter, where Callen was waiting.
Two blocks away was stressing. Off course, exactly when you didn't need it there was a roadblock. He took a look at his watch. 'Shit' he shouted. He parked his car on the side of the road, stepped out, locked his car and started to run.
'Welcome everyone. We are gathered here today to witness the matrimony of Callen McCormack and . Anyone who doesn't think these two should be joined together speak now or forever hold your peace' as if it was meant to be, the doors flew open and a shouting came running in. 'I OBJECT, I OBJECT' he yelled, until he stood right in front of and Callen. 'I'm sorry Callen, but I can't let you marry her. I love . I've loved her all my life. If she looks me in the eyes now and tells me that she never wants to see me again, I'll walk out of here with my head held high and I'll never come across the two of you again, I promise, but I can't let you marry her without having a chance of knowing.' he spoke trying to regain a normal breathing. Callen had looked at 's face and already knew the answer. 'I don't think the bride has to speak. I had hoped this was going to be the turning point. That you'd actually choose to be with me because you loved me enough , but I see that is not the case' Callen sighed.

I wish I could've given you what you wanted from me.' she whispered, then drew back from her hug. Callen had tears in his eyes. 'Don't make me regret my decision mate. Good luck' he turned to . 'Thank you Callen. I'm sorry for ruining your wedding' said. 'That's life, mate, that's life' Callen sighed. 'And what does the bride say of this objection?' the priest asked. 'I love this man' answered, looking straight into 's eyes. 'I love you, ' said, as he took her hand and took a step up so that he was levelled with her. 'I love you, ' repeated. 'You may now kiss the bride' the priest joked. 'Don't mind if I do' smiled and he leaned in to give a most passionate kiss.
