Internet

Open Internet again (not WDCT)

Go to: Extra

Go to: Options
-
Now empty your Cookies folder, your Temporarily Internet Files
and you History Folder

Click: OK
-
Close Internet again
-
Open Internet and WDCT and try again.

Suggestion for your
browser settings to make sure you always see the update
Most internet browsers on most PC’s are set that they
automatically refresh each page you visit.
If this is not the case for your browser (say your browser
refreshes once in two days, or once a day) then it might
happen you don’t see updates right away. You can refresh
manually then. But you can also change your settings to
automatic refreshing when visiting a page. If it happens
more often for you that
you don't see updates you might check this in your browser.
- Go to Extra
- Go to Options
- Click: On the Options tab click 'Settings'
- Check box saying: automatic

Now I have IE7 (Explorer 7) the interactive boxes won't load
WDCT has a page added, especially
for Internet Explorer 7 users to make scripts work in IE7 so
that you can read the stories again.
Follow the easy steps on the instructions page and you will have
it fixed in minutes.

I don't see my message after I typed something on the tag
and clikcked 'Send'
- Refresh the page and try again, it might be caused because
cookies are deactivated and will probably
work again after you refreshed or typed your message again.
If it still won't work....
- You might
be banned. If you have the feeling you're
banned
contact WDCT to make sure if that is, or is
not the case and if so, you might
want to discuss re-access.

When is my
favourite story updated?
Every story has
it's own update day. Every story is updated weekly.
Only exception is when there is a 'themed story'. Then the update of
the story of that day will be one day later. Themed stories always
have to be published on the day they handle about.

Are the stories
on WDCT unique?
Yes. You can
read WDCT's stories nowhere else. If I find out a story is somewhere
else too, it will be deleted from here.

What do I need
to know before I send in a story?
Check the Do You Write Section to read what you need to know before
sending in a story.

How can I become a RA?
Becoming a
RA is on invitation only. To read more about it check the Do You
Write? Section: In the lower left corner on the page you can open a
pop-up giving you more information.

I noticed a
scripting mistake in a story
Please
inform WDCT about it. Mention the
title of the story and the mistake you noticed. Of course I hope
mistakes won't happen, but as I'm scripting everything by myself,
365 days a year, it's not 100% impossible.

I found a WDCT-story
on an other site
Please
inform WDCT about this as WDCT offers a unique story
collection where every story is (or is supposed to be) written
especially and exclusive for WDCT. If you see one of WDCT's stories
elsewhere this obviously needs investigation. WDCT has a real good
'fic police' constantly checking, but you might
find out earlier.
